About Industrial Paint Distributors
An industrial coatings business helping industrial customers get the right touch-up paint into the right hands.

Industrial Paint Distributors
Industrial Paint Distributors was founded in 2014 by Kevin Dyer. The company’s published history describes a coatings-distribution business serving manufacturers and blast-and-paint shops in industrial markets. Its aerosol offering grew from that industrial background: matching and packaging touch-up paint for the products customers make, ship and maintain.
IPD began selling aerosol products in 2017 and subsequently brought filling in-house. Today, its website describes both custom single orders and ongoing OEM programs. The common starting point is the customer’s application, with color reference, coating selection and order requirements discussed together.
Two ways to work with IPD
A single custom aerosol order is intended for a defined job or purchasing requirement. IPD publishes a 24-can minimum, while noting that smaller batches may be available for a fee. Customers can discuss a color reference, suitable material and custom labeling without assuming an ongoing supply commitment.
An OEM touch-up program is intended for recurring needs. IPD describes onboarding production colors, stocking matched paint, designing customer labels and filling against shipment requirements. The published program minimum is 96 cans. Specific color allocation, approvals, stock arrangements and delivery commitments belong in the agreed program scope.
Start with a useful technical conversation
Custom touch-up paint sits at the intersection of appearance and application. A buyer may know the desired color but need to identify the original coating. Another may have an approved repair specification and need a branded aerosol supply arrangement. These are different inquiries, even when both involve the same color name.
Bring the information you have and mark unknown details clearly. The specification checklist helps purchasing, quality and production teams prepare a shared brief. The technical-resource page explains how to request documents for the actual supplied product.
A published OEM program example
IPD identifies Hunter Buildings as a customer for a program involving matched colors and customer-branded aerosol cans associated with building shipments. The program summary explains the scope described in that account.
We distinguish that documented relationship from illustrative application imagery. The generated images used in this design preview are not photographs of IPD’s shop, staff or customer projects. No unverified certifications, employee qualifications, testimonials or performance statistics have been added.
